About the position

The Product Analyst I role at COCC involves supporting the product development lifecycle, focusing on product strategy, market requirements, and implementation. The position requires collaboration with various teams to identify product needs and ensure successful product launches, while also providing initial client support and training.

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams, coworkers, and clients to identify product needs and strategies for deployment.
• Analyze business needs against current system functionality and create requirements documents for development.
• Host focus groups and participate in product forums to gather information for development requirements.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing to ensure product alignment with client requirements.
• Develop release documentation detailing new functionality and system changes.
• Assist with training needs and documentation coordination for product launches.
• Interface with customer support for detailed support as necessary.
• Perform new product/service setup and maintain expectations in line with functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience/certifications.
• Minimum of two years banking or financial services experience, preferably in a technical or operational capacity.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret banking periodicals and technical procedures.
• Technical aptitude to perform critical thinking and construct database queries.
• Understanding of relational database structures required.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

Nice-to-haves

• Presentation skills and capability to take a product from design to implementation.
