About the position

The Product Analyst III at Availity will support the Payment Accuracy team, collaborating with a scrum team to enhance the capabilities and features of the Payment Accuracy product. This role focuses on leveraging data analytics and modeling to drive strategic insights and improve payment processes between payers and providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in healthcare technology, contributing to a highly collaborative and innovative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic insights by conducting independent research to inform the Payment Accuracy strategy.
  • Analyze complex data workflows within the Payment Accuracy product to support decision-making.
  • Gather and analyze complex business, functional, and technical requirements, and develop use cases.
  • Collaborate with technology and product teams to document solutions for new and existing products and features.
  • Utilize analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) for data manipulation and visualization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in Product, Business System Analyst, or Data Analyst role within the healthcare space.
  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience gathering and developing functional and technical requirements.
  • Strong expertise in data analytics and data modeling.
  • Proficient in SQL and/or Python.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact with diverse groups and executives.
  • Experience with Jira/Rally and Confluence.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.

  • Experience working in healthcare technology product organizations, payers, or providers.
  • Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling.
