About the position

The Product Analyst III at Availity will support the Payment Accuracy team, collaborating with a scrum team to enhance the capabilities and features of the Payment Accuracy product. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decisions and providing strategic insights to improve payment processes between payers and providers. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical background in data analytics and modeling to inform product development and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research to provide strategic recommendations aligned with the Availity Payment Accuracy strategy.
• Analyze complex data within the Payment Accuracy product to inform decision-making.
• Gather and analyze complex business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with technology and product teams to define and document solutions for new and existing products.
• Utilize analytics tools for data manipulation and visualization.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of experience in Product, Business System Analyst, or Data Analyst role within the healthcare space.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience gathering and developing functional and technical requirements.
• Strong expertise in data analytics and data modeling.
• Proficient in SQL and/or Python.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Highly proficient in Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, able to interact with diverse groups and executives.
• Experience with Jira/Rally and Confluence.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in healthcare technology product organizations, payers, or providers.
• Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling.
