About the position

The Product Analyst III at Availity is a key role focused on supporting the Payment Accuracy team by collaborating with a scrum team to enhance the capabilities and features of the Payment Accuracy product. This position requires a strong technical background in data analytics and data modeling, with an emphasis on driving data-driven decisions to improve healthcare payment processes. The analyst will proactively analyze data to provide strategic insights that align with Availity's mission of improving patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Providing strategic insights by conducting independent research to inform the Payment Accuracy strategy.
• Analyzing complex data workflows within the Payment Accuracy product to support decision-making.
• Gathering and analyzing complex business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Collaborating with technology and product teams to document solutions for new and existing products.
• Utilizing analytics tools for data manipulation and visualization.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Product, Business System Analyst, or Data Analyst roles within the healthcare space.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in gathering and developing functional and technical requirements.
• Strong expertise in data analytics and data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse groups and stakeholders.
• Experience with Jira/Rally and Confluence.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
