About the position

Digital Manufacturing brings the digital and technology aspects of manufacturing and IT into a single, unified organization. The Process Data & Analysis team within Digital Manufacturing aims to enable integrated access to all shopfloor data by working with product teams across the enterprise and strategic initiatives. One strategic opportunity the team directly supports is Manufacturing Process Intelligence (MPI), which is a key part of our Company Manufacturing Division's Digital Strategy and links to the broader enterprise Accelerate initiative. This role specifically will serve as product analyst for the new product in development by the MPI team, aiming to provide “access to data for investigations in 3 clicks or less”. The Product Analyst will act as a bridge between business challenges and technology solutions, will work under the leadership of the product manager, and will maintain a close relationship with a network of global platforms and teams across Manufacturing and Digital Manufacturing, ranging from site engineering and automation teams, global team supporting the CMC continuum, and digital functions spanning data engineering, data science, software engineering, and architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Decompose DataLynx user feedback & demand into components and user stories for product features & enhancements, training & learning content, and technical bug fixes.
  • Support Product Manager in developing & maintaining the product backlog.
  • Facilitate product feature prioritization process.
  • Direct demand to dependent products, opportunities & source systems and platforms leveraging demand management practices.
  • Understand manufacturing data domain and support development of business processes, product architecture, and features to contextualize this data.
  • Serve as a user facing expert in how product capabilities fit into key business processes, responsible for sustaining training strategy and user community development.
  • Support the development and execution of a product communication & product branding strategy, including creating materials and collecting value stories.
  • Develop & own the community engagement process (COPs), including user feedback and communication channels.
  • Facilitate deployment of product to new users, including training, coordination, and communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Technology, or Data related field.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-starter comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
  • Proven creative problem solver.
  • Proficient at assessing a problem with a line of sight to how it fits into the broader product strategy.
