About the position

The Senior Product Analyst at Cummins Inc. is responsible for managing various cloud projects, including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud, while also engaging in general product planning activities. This role requires a strategic mindset to balance stakeholder needs, effective communication, and the ability to lead and mentor less experienced analysts. The position emphasizes collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure that business requirements align with platform capabilities, and it involves significant project management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, CPQ, Experience Cloud, and platform projects.
  • Utilize PM frameworks and tools like Jira.
  • Oversee US grooming, prioritization, testing scenarios, functional testing, and smoke testing.
  • Manage business stakeholders from product planning, prioritization, US review, execution, conducting workshops, change management, and training.
  • Handle project functional and business documentation and conduct SIT/UAT with business.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and align requirements to the platform.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis with business requirements to platform capability.
  • Participate in large enterprise implementations.
  • Lead efforts to define and document business success for medium to large initiatives.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct requirements management activities, ensuring changes are well understood and approved.
  • Lead solution assessment and validation to ensure specifications meet business needs.
  • Review test plans and participate in testing to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Conduct problem analysis and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Develop positive relationships with business and technical teams.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced business analysts.

Requirements

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience required (3-5 years).
  • Salesforce cloud certifications are mandatory.
