About the position

The internship at Moody's Analytics is designed for students pursuing degrees in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields. This 10-week summer program offers a hands-on learning experience, allowing interns to support various stages of the product lifecycle while gaining insights into the company's operations and culture. Interns will engage in networking, mentorship, and professional development activities, contributing to real projects that have a significant impact on the business.

Responsibilities

  • Support the product team in various stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation and planning to development, launch, and post-launch activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and document product requirements and user stories.
  • Help track product performance metrics and usage analytics, preparing regular reports to assess product adoption and user engagement.
  • Participate in client and stakeholder meetings to understand user needs and communicate feedback to the product team.
  • Assist in creating and updating product documentation, as well as identifying opportunities to improve workflows and processes within the product management team.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with STEM related data and/or modeling techniques and tools.
  • Comfortable working with large and complex data sets, including raw data and diagnostics.
  • Analytical skills to collect, analyze, and disseminate information related to machine learning models.
  • Evaluation skills to position an argument, provide verifiable facts, and illicit stakeholder determination.
  • Interest or ability to craft business narratives to guide near-term business and resource decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with financial data and/or software (SQL, JIRA, or Confluence).
  • Students studying towards a Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields with a graduation date of June 2026 - June 2027.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with multi-linguistic or culture studies and/or their relevant modeling technologies.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models.
