About the position

The Product Analyst is responsible for leveraging data to enhance customer experiences within the Consumer, IoT, Value Added Services, and Network products Marketplace. This role focuses on analyzing product performance and customer feedback to drive data-informed decisions and improve product quality and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Explore customer experience and product performance data to develop goals and tracking metrics.
  • Ensure product priorities are data-driven and align with both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Develop in-depth analytical insights around stability, performance, and customer experience across various data sets and platforms.
  • Build strategic relationships and manage communication across multiple partner teams.
  • Collaborate with Research, Sales Support, and Marketing teams to identify product improvement opportunities based on customer feedback.
  • Create objective data-driven narratives to influence product teams to prioritize quality projects.
  • Inform and execute new quality initiatives that positively impact core metrics.
  • Manage medium to large-sized projects effectively.
  • Build automated, actionable, and accurate reporting suites.
  • Analyze current business performance and create models to explain trends and forecast future outcomes.
  • Query and analyze data from various systems, both technical and process-oriented.
  • Present and defend analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for analytics related to existing and new technologies or products.
  • Support conversion optimization and A/B testing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of experience in quantitative analysis.
  • 3+ years of SQL experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in Python, R, Perl, or other scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of statistics and mathematical concepts.
  • 5+ years of experience in Tableau, Salesforce.com, Qlik, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
  • Analytical experience with a focus on building product intuition and providing business insights.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and business teams.
  • Experience in creating and telling stories from data.
  • Ability to drive change through influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Work experience in tech, hardware, engineering, consulting, or related industries.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's or PhD with 2+ years of work experience in quantitative analysis.
  • Experience at a software technology company.
  • Degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other tech or math-related fields.
