About the position

The Product Analyst position at Insight Global involves maintaining, implementing, and deploying mission-critical production data collection series. The role requires responding to and resolving incidents for Level 1 and Level 2 on-premises and AWS cloud solutions. Additionally, the analyst will facilitate the development of new cloud solutions, focusing on tasks such as data migration and analysis. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of production systems and requires a proactive approach to incident management and system optimization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production operation support, particularly with AWS resources. This includes expertise in cloud migration, automation, and packaging, as well as proficiency in monitoring tools such as Cloudwatch and Grafana. The role also involves scripting with Terraform and ensuring AWS security and compliance. The analyst will be part of an Agile squad, contributing to the deployment and incident reporting processes, and will utilize ticketing systems like ServiceNow for effective incident management. Core skills required for this position include being an expert in RedHat Linux, Middleware WebSphere, and core Java. The candidate should possess strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, as well as a solid understanding of code structure for production support. The role demands hands-on experience with various technologies and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, implement, and deploy mission-critical production data collection series.
  • Respond to and resolve incidents for Level 1 and Level 2 on-prem and AWS cloud solutions.
  • Facilitate development for new cloud solutions, including data migration and analysis.
  • Support production operations for AWS resources, including cloud migration and automation.
  • Utilize monitoring tools such as Cloudwatch and Grafana for system performance.
  • Script using Terraform for infrastructure management and deployment.
  • Manage incident reporting and ticketing through ServiceNow.
  • Work collaboratively within an Agile squad to ensure timely project delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux, WebSphere, Java, and AWS production support.
  • Proficient in maintaining solutions and processing operational data tasks.
  • Experience in responding to and resolving incidents for on-prem solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3 and Lambda.
  • Proficient in scripting with Python and Terraform.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Cloudwatch and Grafana.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.

  • Experience with CI/CD deployment and automation processes.
