About the position

The Product Analyst will work closely with the Product Manager to oversee the development, enhancements, and maintenance of the client's POS systems in the restaurant industry. This role focuses on ensuring the system meets customer needs, integrates with other business systems, and aligns with strategic goals. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze market trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the performance and functionality of the POS product.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to oversee the development and maintenance of POS systems.
• Ensure the POS system meets customer needs and integrates with other business systems.
• Analyze market trends to inform product decisions.
• Make data-driven decisions to optimize POS product performance and functionality.
• Communicate effectively with various internal teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of product analyst experience.
• Experience with POS systems in the restaurant industry.
• Strong communication skills to interact with diverse internal teams and stakeholders.
• Experience working with Jira.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with back-office systems within a POS, including inventory and labor management.
• Experience working with Par Brink.
• Strong understanding of Jira, Epic stories, managing backlogs, agile methodologies, and TDD (test-driven development).
