About the position

The Product Analyst at Tyler Technologies plays a crucial role in collaborating with various stakeholders to design solutions that help customers achieve their mission-critical work. This position involves gathering complex requirements, defining use cases, and supporting the product development process through research and analysis. The analyst will also communicate product performance to senior management and demonstrate new functionalities to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners, strategy, sales, implementation, designers, and engineers to design solutions for customers.
  • Gather complex requirements from various sources to support product development.
  • Define and document use cases and conduct research/analysis to support product development.
  • Communicate with senior management on progress, product performance, and major issues.
  • Demonstrate new functionality to stakeholders and customers with real-world use cases.
  • Provide sales support by assisting in responding to RFI's and RFP's.
  • Work on individual features that are part of a larger application.
  • Build and ship high-quality customer-facing features.
  • Participate in an agile development environment.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the team environment through integrity, leadership, and knowledge transfer.
  • Adapt to changing products, methodologies, and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, information systems, computer science, or comparable work experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for conveying technical and non-technical information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with data modeling and related database concepts.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 and familiarity with Miro, Jira, and user-centered design.
  • Experience in public sector and governmental accounting (a plus).
