About the position

The Product Analyst at FXI Inc. plays a crucial role in driving data-informed decision-making to ensure the company's product portfolio aligns with market demands and company goals. This position involves analyzing market trends, product performance, and customer feedback to support product development and improvement. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to optimize product offerings and contribute to the company's profitability and success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences.
• Monitor and analyze product performance metrics such as sales data, customer reviews, and return rates.
• Utilize statistical tools and data analytics to interpret data and generate reports.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback from various channels to identify common issues, needs, and preferences.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and marketing teams to ensure product development aligns with market needs.
• Assist in designing and executing product testing protocols and evaluate test results.
• Analyze competitor products and strategies to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation.
• Support the development of data-driven product strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in product analysis, market research, or a related role, preferably in the consumer goods or manufacturing industry.
• Power BI experience or other visual analytical tools.
• Experience working with automotive or technology clients and understanding of the product lifecycle in those industries.
• Strong knowledge of foam materials and their applications, including experience with material science, product design, or manufacturing processes involving foam.
• Proven experience in product design and specification development.

• Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Ability to provide technical support to non-technical teams.
