The Senior Product Analyst works within the Fidelity Workplace Investing Agile Model as a member of the SPS Customer Solutions Chapter. This role is crucial in collaborating with Product Area Leads, Initiative Leads, and Squad Leads to elicit, document, and translate high complexity business requirements into Agile feature-level epics. The Senior Product Analyst is responsible for driving the development and execution of business acceptance test plans, test strategies, and implementing solutions to ensure the highest level of integrity, accuracy, and overall quality in the final product. This position requires a highly motivated individual who is a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and a drive to succeed. The Senior Product Analyst must be adept at working both independently and within a team structure, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills throughout their work. The expertise required for this role includes a demonstrated knowledge of business analyst techniques, such as elicitation, current/future state analysis, flow diagramming, benchmarking, business rules and risk analysis, user acceptance testing, and product documentation. An Agile mentality is essential, along with experience using tools like Jira or similar Agile backlog management tools, Confluence, and Mural. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and certifications such as CPAB or CSPO are desirable. The Senior Product Analyst should enjoy solving problems and possess strong mediation skills to resolve conflicts effectively. They must also be capable of facilitating workshops and communicating clearly with a broad audience, showcasing excellent time management skills and the ability to write clear, concise product documentation and communications. In this role, the Senior Product Analyst will initiate and lead discovery for Feature/Epic Definition with the Squad Leader and Scrum Master to prioritize Epics. They will ensure that analysis artifacts, such as use cases and supporting documentation, are updated and available for story execution. The Senior Product Analyst will write feature-level epics and facilitate story grooming/refinement sessions to ensure they meet the Definition of Ready. They will collaborate with key Business, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Risk partners to define product features and monitor trends, establishing stakeholder meetings to include demos of sprint deliverables and impact analysis results. Additionally, they will lead organizational readiness activities throughout the project lifecycle to proactively mitigate risks related to product delivery, communicate issues and client feedback to the Squad Leader, and act as a Subject Matter Expert in Release Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives for assigned initiatives and features. The role also involves creating, documenting, and reviewing initiatives, Sub-Initiatives, Epics, and Stories, identifying business requirements, and collaborating strategically with the QA team on QA test plan reviews to provide clarity on epic requirements and acceptance criteria. Finally, the Senior Product Analyst will perform End to End Business Acceptance Testing in the Acceptance Region and ensure the traceability of test cases, assisting with readiness and deployment activities for each release.
