About the position

Delaware North is seeking a Product Analyst to join their team in Buffalo, New York. The role involves collecting, documenting, and prioritizing business requirements based on stakeholder input, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of existing solutions and new product implementations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and growth opportunities within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, plan, and implement business cases, development, and QA scenarios into business operations, ensuring optimal IT and business solutions.
  • Gather and document business and functional requirements, use cases, focusing on guest satisfaction and ease of use for both guests and team members.
  • Collaborate with BRMs, business, and client teams to understand and translate their needs into product requirements, managing the product backlog and prioritizing items based on changing requirements and business needs.
  • Develop and manage an annual product functionality road map, including new solutions, product upgrades, requirements, and collective subsidiary vision; oversee all stages of product creation from design to implementation.
  • Establish best practices and processes to streamline operations, support data integrity, and improve IT standards and policies, building collaborative relationships across business units and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information management, computer science, computer systems engineering, business administration, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated technical acumen and critical thinking to build strong IT teams, informed decision makers, and informed users.
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale systems such as Micros, Agilysys, NetSuite, Appetize, and Bypass, menu and categorization management, pricing, displays, third party integrated POS solutions, property management systems, and loyalty integrations.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite with special focus on Excel.
  • Ability to secure and maintain any required jurisdictional licensing needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Gaming system knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Micros Simphony2, SpotOn, Appetize, Agilysys Resort Systems, Oracle Cloud, Shift4, and MyVenue preferred.
  • Previous employment in the hospitality industry, gaming industry, restaurants, retail, or food and beverage front line operations preferred.
