About the position
The Product Analyst role at Smartapp.com is a technical and functional specialist position that focuses on collaborating with business and technical teams to define product requirements and specifications. The analyst will create UI mock-ups, document user personas, and ensure usability standards are met. This position plays a crucial role in the product development lifecycle, working closely with engineering and QA teams to ensure accurate feature development and testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform new product feature feasibility analysis and create functional specifications to support development and QA cycles.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to prioritize deliverables and negotiate product functionalities.
- Understand SDLC/Agile development processes and apply analytical problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Implement predictive and analytical modeling techniques and practices.
- Deliver on multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Utilize knowledge of enterprise business use cases and the enterprise product domain.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of relevant experience in product analysis or a related field.
- Master's Degree or equivalent in product analysis or MBA from a reputable institution.
- Proficiency in UI/UX wireframing using tools such as UXPin, Balsamiq, or similar.
- Strong technical functional specification writing skills.
- Background in SQL, data analysis, data modeling, and reporting.
- Knowledge of mobile and Windows-based operating systems.
- Strong product analysis skills and ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to analyze, process, and present multiple product features to both technical and business users.
