About the position

The Product Analyst at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP will play a crucial role in the Knowledge Solutions Product Team, focusing on creating and configuring solutions that meet business needs through design thinking methodologies. This position involves collaborating with various teams to develop user stories, manage product lifecycles, and ensure the successful adoption of products within the firm. The analyst will also be responsible for maintaining documentation standards and enhancing product offerings based on user feedback and market analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with business units to define use cases for intuitive product design.
  • Track market availability of products to determine build vs. buy decisions.
  • Measure product success through analytics and user feedback.
  • Create and execute a change management program with Knowledge leadership.
  • Continuously improve products by prioritizing features based on business needs.
  • Document business and functional requirements with business analysts.
  • Verify product delivery with the technical team to ensure design adherence.
  • Establish policies and documentation for product management.
  • Create training materials specific to products.
  • Maintain product roadmap in collaboration with project management and knowledge leadership.
  • Build expertise in the product stack and participate in the product community.
  • Market products to increase awareness and identify additional use cases.
  • Maintain a trusted advisory group for product direction and roadmap.
  • Keep an updated list of firm resources in enterprise architecture documentation.
  • Work with implementation teams to ensure well-tested product delivery.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with transactional legal work preferred but not required.
  • JD preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands.
  • Understanding of collaboration technology and enterprise search tools preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse personalities.
  • Commitment to exceptional client service and high-quality work.
  • Project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SharePoint, iManage Insight, and/or Foundation.
  • Familiarity with design thinking methodologies.
