About the position

Chewy is seeking a Product Analyst to join the Chewy Ads team. This role involves making data-informed business decisions, supporting product development, building and managing business dashboards, and identifying revenue-generating features. The analyst will work cross-functionally and must possess an analytical mindset with a strong understanding of digital marketing and performance advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of key initiatives in the ads system development.
  • Gather and analyze data to draw conclusions that shape critical business decisions.
  • Drive yield optimization across Chewy Ads offsite network.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and ad operations to support product releases and operational processes.
  • Own the creation and ongoing management of business and system dashboards.
  • Leverage data analysis to identify and solve revenue-generating features and projects.
  • Serve as the go-to person for all ads teams to answer complex questions requiring an end-to-end understanding of the production system.

Requirements

  • College Degree in relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, etc.)
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior experience with data visualization products (Tableau or equivalent toolsets).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and other data query technologies (Snowflake, Tableau, Office 365).
  • Ability to independently structure problems, identify inquiry routes, and present distilled results to Ads Management.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and digital advertising.
  • Customer-first mindset and passion for delivering the best end-to-end experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with digital ads and ecommerce performance advertising (e.g., Search ads, Social, Display).
  • Experience with publisher yield management.
  • Experience with advertiser-facing reporting.
