The Product Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This position involves close collaboration with various business partners, including sales, client services, and operations, to thoroughly understand and document existing business processes. The Product Analyst is responsible for identifying areas where improvements can be made and delivering clear and actionable requirements to the technology team for both internal and external products. This role requires a strong understanding of the business landscape and the ability to translate complex requirements into manageable tasks for the engineering and QA teams. In addition to requirement gathering, the Product Analyst acts as a project manager, facilitating communication between internal and external stakeholders to ensure that application changes and improvements are effectively implemented. This includes evaluating user needs, coordinating activities, managing timelines, and providing regular status updates. The Product Analyst must also communicate both front-end and back-end user requirements to the development team, ensuring that all aspects of the product are aligned with user expectations. The role also involves leading product design initiatives, developing a roadmap for feature enhancements, and identifying opportunities for automation through system integration. The Product Analyst is tasked with understanding and documenting operational processes to pinpoint procedural gaps and propose viable solutions. Furthermore, they are responsible for end-user training on newly introduced features, which includes developing training materials and conducting sessions for both external and internal customers. The position may also require the preparation of release notes and user guides as needed, along with other duties as assigned.
