About the position

CLARK Material Handling Company, a century-old leader in the material handling and forklift industry, is seeking a qualified Product Analyst to join our team in Flower Mound, TX. This full-time position will play a crucial role in coordinating the Program Director group, assisting both regional and global functions in the development of forklift and material handling products and strategies. The Product Analyst will be responsible for program management, which includes coordinating and assisting relevant functions such as market research, sales promotion, research and development, manufacturing, and purchasing to derive meaningful input for projects and ensure a unified approach. The role involves defining target costs and investments while monitoring and managing their evolution. The Product Analyst will also investigate cost-saving opportunities and support their implementation, as well as monitor Total Delivered Cost (TDC) and guide functions to implement best practices across various plants. In terms of product strategy, the analyst will envision future products and concepts that respond to regional and global market needs, establishing mid- and long-term product plans for sustainable company growth. This will require deriving insights and direction for product strategy through in-depth data analysis, ensuring that CLARK remains competitive and innovative in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assist relevant functions (market research, sales promotion, R&D, manufacturing, and purchasing) to derive meaningful input to projects.
  • Define target costs and investments and monitor/manage their evolution.
  • Investigate cost-saving opportunities and support their implementation.
  • Monitor Total Delivered Cost (TDC) and guide functions to implement best practices across plants.
  • Envision future products and product concepts that respond to regional/global market needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business analytics, or a similar field.
  • Proven experience in product planning, product development, and project management in the forklift or similar industry.
  • Strong project and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and proactive mindset.
  • Ability to deal well with conflict, change, unexpected events, and complexity.
  • High standards and sense of integrity, with a commitment to making and keeping commitments.
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
