About the position

As a Product Analyst at Farm Bureau Financial Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of property-casualty insurance products that adhere to relevant laws and regulations while meeting the needs of our client/members. This position is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented and possess strong organizational and communication skills. You will be responsible for implementing solutions to various legislative and regulatory compliance issues, ensuring that our products are not only compliant but also effective in serving our clients' needs. Your responsibilities will include managing and documenting insurance department filings, maintaining and distributing product manuals, and ensuring that all supporting documentation is up to date and accessible. You will also monitor changes from advisory organizations such as ISO and NCCI, which are critical to keeping our products relevant and compliant. Additionally, you will develop and submit Product Improvement Requests (PIRs) and ServiceNow requests, providing necessary programming requirements and supporting materials as needed. Your role will also involve miscellaneous research and support for the Products area, contributing to the overall success of our insurance offerings. Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of property-casualty insurance products that comply with laws and regulations.
  • Implement solutions to legislative, regulatory and other compliance issues.
  • Manage and document insurance department filings.
  • Maintain and distribute product manuals and supporting documentation needed.
  • Monitor and document ISO, NCCI, and other advisory organizations changes.
  • Develop and submit PIRs and ServiceNow requests and provide programming requirements and supporting material as needed.
  • Support the Products area with miscellaneous research and other support as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in a business-related field plus three years relevant industry experience.
  • Attain IIA general insurance certification or related insurance designations or certifications.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of property and casualty insurance products, laws and regulations.
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational, planning, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
