About the position

Flint Hills Resources (FHR) is seeking a Product Analyst to join a product team focused on delivering a technology roadmap that enhances work processes. The role aims to create competitive advantages through effective data management strategies and automation of decision-making. The Product Analyst will work closely with various IT capabilities and business partners to maximize the return on technology investments and solve business problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute against prioritized backlog to deliver highest value initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Effectively capture business requirements and user stories for the Product Team and other IT capabilities.
• Partner with Product Owners and the business to configure technology that enables work processes.
• Collaborate across IT teams and FHR business partners to implement product improvements for business transformation.
• Coordinate the execution of project deliverables by other IT capabilities to ensure timely project delivery.
• Communicate effectively with business partners and IT teams regarding status, risks, and roadblocks.
• Ensure quality of product releases through risk mitigation strategies, including test automation and regression testing.
• Coordinate with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or Finance related field OR 2+ years' experience in an enterprise application focused role.
• Experience working with structured query language (SQL) and/or similar technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL, XML, API integrations, and/or similar technologies.
• Experience learning and developing expertise in ERP technologies.
• Experience partnering with the business to solve business problems with technology.
• Experience working within AGILE Teams and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with custom-built and/or market software applications.
• Experience coordinating the work of others.
