About the position

The Product Analyst at AbbVie plays a vital role in the technology product lifecycle, focusing on the development and management of technology programs that support AbbVie's Commercial Finance & Planning groups. This position involves analyzing business processes, documenting requirements, and providing expert advice on information systems to enhance business operations across various therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Support the Product Owner in managing technology products from ideation to operation.
• Proactively understand current business processes and educate stakeholders on technology capabilities.
• Identify unmet business needs and evaluate technology solutions to address them.
• Elicit, define, validate, and document business requirements with input from stakeholders.
• Oversee the health of all BTS documentation related to specific technology products.
• Manage demand intake, scope clarification, and testing strategies.
• Conduct training and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing and monitor issues during UAT and functional testing.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate and Divisional Policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years' experience; Master's Degree with 5 years' experience; PhD with 0 years' experience.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to interact with business stakeholders effectively.
• Deep experience in eliciting and writing requirements for business applications in a pharmaceutical setting.
• Experience with Agile methodology and associated tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant experience with Business Intelligence and Data Management in financial planning.
• Understanding of Software Life Cycle phases, including Build and Run aspects.
