About the position

Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, is seeking a Product Analyst for multiple openings in Austin, TX. The successful candidate will support the design and execution of the Real Time Payment (RTP) Risk Analytics product suite. This role involves the end-to-end execution of new product development, from inception through proof of concept (POC), minimum viable product (MVP), and live deployment. The Product Analyst will participate in and provide business input to discussions surrounding AI design and technology, ensuring that the RTP Risk Analytics aligns with Visa's global strategy, product suite, and processes. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Product Analyst will work closely with various teams including Product, Research, Engineering, and UX to define product goals and deliver key features. The position also requires close cooperation with the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure successful product delivery on time and with the desired quality. The analyst will support product development for live services, working with technology teams such as Data Science and Software Development to ensure functionality and expected outcomes are met. In addition to managing progress and resolving dependencies to achieve delivery milestones, the Product Analyst will manage stakeholder relationships and prioritize progress effectively. A creative and design-thinking approach is essential for developing innovative solutions to industry challenges. The analyst will play an instrumental role in the RTP Risk Analytics team, actively participating in the overall strategy design, commercialization, and execution of Risk Analytics products. This position will also serve as the go-to person for RTP Risk Analytics Products within the Financial Crime function, representing the product and its strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and execution of the Real Time Payment (RTP) Risk Analytics product suite.
  • Support end-to-end execution of new product development (Inception - POC - MVP - Live).
  • Participate and provide business input to AI design and technology discussions.
  • Collaborate with teams across Visa to align RTP Risk Analytics with Visa Global strategy, product suite, and processes.
  • Work with Product, Research, Engineering, UX teams, and others to define product goals and deliver key features.
  • Work closely with PMO to deliver successful products on time with desired quality.
  • Support product development for live service, including working with technology teams on functionality and expected outcomes.
  • Manage progress and resolve dependencies to achieve delivery milestones.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and progress priorities.
  • Take a creative and design thinking approach to develop innovative solutions to industry challenges.
  • Play an instrumental role in the RTP Risk Analytics team actively participating in the overall strategy design, commercialization, and execution of Risk Analytics products.
  • Become go-to-person for RTP Risk Analytics Products in the Financial Crime function.
  • Represent the product and product strategy.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Understanding of product management concepts.
  • Understanding of data science and MLOps.
  • Knowledge of software development (SDLC) processes.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms.
  • Experience with API testing tools including Postman.
  • Familiarity with project management tools including Jira, Jira Align, and/or Project planner.
  • Experience with reporting tools including PowerBI, Tableau, and/or Splunk.
  • Proficiency in communication tools including MS Teams, Webex, and/or Zoom.
  • Experience with documentation tools including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote).
