About the position

The Product Analyst role is a 6-month contract position focused on analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes for a Fortune 50 client's Manufacturing Technology team. The position is 100% remote and involves utilizing advanced software solutions, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and low-code development platforms like Mendix, to enhance supply chain capabilities through process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with technical product owner, product manager, and development squad to clarify and document business requirements to deliver a technical solution.
• Ensure prioritization/refinement of product backlog based on business value and time to complete.
• Adhere to software development and product management best practices around SDLC, GxP, quality & compliance, and security.
• Write user stories and develop process improvements within Jira.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Experience in project management or business analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Initiative to learn and become familiar with low-code platforms.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with MES, agile, product design, product management, enterprise/solution architecture, software development.
