About the position

As a Product Analyst at JLR, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of the brand's product vision, strategy, and roadmap specifically for the U.S. market. This position is integral to the ongoing transformation of JLR's brands, which are reimagining modern luxury through a distinct British design ethos. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting data analytics to support strategy development and providing U.S. input to global initiatives. You will monitor and analyze commercial and brand equity performance data, which encompasses sales figures, market share, customer service metrics, brand awareness, and customer loyalty. Additionally, you will keep a close eye on trends within the luxury automotive segment, particularly focusing on the SUV market and key competitive trends such as new launches, technology advancements, retail units, MSRP, transaction prices, customer loyalty, and economic outlook. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, financial services, and sales operations, to ensure comprehensive performance for the brand. You will also support the product pricing, volume, trim mix, and options take rate process through detailed analysis, aiming to deliver a profitable vehicle business proposition that meets corporate thresholds. Furthermore, you will assist in creating the market-level product offering, specifying vehicle features and options for all trim levels to develop competitive vehicles that meet sales targets. Your role will also involve supporting commercialization efforts by creating Monroney labels, product guides, and reviewing configurators that facilitate vehicle sales in the U.S. market. You will maintain key dates and launch planning files, ensuring that all cross-functional partners are aware of deadlines necessary for their functions. Additionally, you will provide support to the Brand Director and Senior Brand Specialist as needed, and perform other duties as required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analytics to support strategy development and U.S. input to global initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze commercial and brand equity performance data including sales, share, customer service metrics, awareness, loyalty, etc.
  • Monitor luxury automotive segment trends with an emphasis on the SUV segment and key competitive trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, financial services, and sales operations to ensure end-to-end performance for the brand.
  • Support the product pricing, volume, trim mix, and options take rate process with analysis.
  • Assist in creating the market level product offering (OXO creation) specifying vehicle features and options for all trim levels.
  • Support commercialization by creating Monroney labels, product guides, and reviewing configurators.
  • Maintain key dates and launch planning files to alert cross-functional partners of deadlines.
  • Support Brand Director and Senior Brand Specialist as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, presentation, and project execution skills.

  • Ability to work on several projects at once with multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
