About the position

As a Product Analyst at EF World Journeys, you will play a crucial role in the Engineering organization, collaborating with a cross-functional team to enhance digital product performance. Your primary focus will be on understanding user behavior, conducting product analytics audits, and developing measurement plans that translate metrics into business value. You will also be responsible for building tracking documentation, generating reports, and presenting insights to drive decision-making within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of users, their goals, and journey.
  • Conduct product analytics audits and develop a thorough understanding of existing measurement and tracking plans.
  • Develop measurement plans for feature releases, defining success metrics and articulating their business value.
  • Develop tracking requirements for web, mobile, and internal platform applications to enable future analysis on product performance and user behavior.
  • Build and maintain tracking documentation.
  • Build reports and complete ad-hoc analysis requests to track performance against goals.
  • Conduct regular performance readouts and present findings and insights with clear recommendations.
  • Participate in the analytics community to improve data processes and collaborate with the data engineering team.
  • Work closely with the product team to align cross-team work and cultivate a positive insights culture.
  • Ensure data accuracy and effective visualization to drive insights and decision-making.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in an analytics role, evaluating user behavior across web, mobile, and internal platforms.
  • Experience with event-based tracking platforms like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau.
  • Familiarity with SQL or Snowflake for data transformation and consolidation.
  • Experience developing data requirements and measurement plans.
  • Background in experimentation, including A/B and multi-variate testing in e-commerce.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Amplitude for event tracking.
  • Familiarity with mobile application analytics.
