About the position

As a Product and Technical Service Manager at Collins Aerospace, you will be responsible for overseeing contract and warranty administration, managing service requests, and providing customer support. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge in product and technical service, focusing on troubleshooting complex customer issues and ensuring effective communication across teams to uphold service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure proper fulfillment of contracts and warranties, conducting audits and clarifying contractual rights.
• Manage airframer service requests, drafting agreements, negotiating terms, and tracking performance through Collins onsite teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for airframer assertions, working collaboratively with value streams to reach agreements that align with company goals.
• Troubleshoot customer issues efficiently and provide critical training, ensuring clients understand product functionalities and procedures.
• Engage in strategic planning activities to enhance service delivery and efficiency within Product Technical Service.
• Analyze data and present findings to management, ensuring complex issues are escalated appropriately and contributing to informed decision-making.
• Advise and mentor less experienced team members on policies, procedures, and technical product information interpretation.

Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
• Program management experience of at least 5 years.
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior Technical Service or Program Management experience is preferred.
• Aerospace industry experience is preferred.
• Prior Customer-Facing experience is preferred.
