About the position

Under general direction, the position involves providing sales and technical support for customers and salespeople, which includes application engineering, product training, and technical assistance. The role is crucial in assisting sales teams to grow relationships with various customers, including engineers and third-party account managers. The individual will promote solutions that optimize sales, increase market share, and maximize profit margins. This position is based onsite in Mt. Pleasant, PA, and requires a commitment to living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which emphasizes taking responsibility for one's actions while caring for colleagues and the business.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales support through technical assistance to customers and salespersons.
• Utilize systems databases to provide pricing and estimation.
• Assist account managers with applications training and ensure support resources are in place to develop salespersons capable of selling the full scope of product offerings available.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to deliver exemplary customer satisfaction requirements.
• Respond to calls from customers, engineers, and account managers.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Must have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the power industry.
• Possess good computer skills and working knowledge of Excel spreadsheet analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Power quality sales experience preferred.
