About the position

The Product Application Engineer (PAE) plays a crucial role within the Orbital Gear Solutions (OGS) Business Unit sales team, serving as a primary technical resource for Sales & Marketing. This position is responsible for providing technical solutions, documentation, support, guidance, and training related to specific products and product families. The PAE also collaborates with various departments to enhance product offerings and ensure customer satisfaction through innovative solutions and responsive support.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical consultant for system application engineers, account managers, and sales development managers to provide optimal solutions for customers.
• Engage with engineering and the digital customer experience team to create interactive technical information and literature.
• Take ownership of sales requests, coordinating with other departments to assess feasibility and communicate feedback to sales teams or customers.
• Plan and implement product training sessions for sales teams and customers.
• Develop customer notifications regarding product changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in engineering, technical sales, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-haves

• Technical experience in the hydraulics industry, particularly with Low Speed High Torque motors.
• Experience with SAP, Teamcenter, and Salesforce.
