About the position
The Product Application Specialist role at LEAD Technical involves providing ongoing support to field representatives in the HVAC industry. This position focuses on assisting with quotes, answering technical questions, and ensuring proper design and equipment selection for HVAC systems. The role is a direct hire opportunity based in Orlando, FL, and is available immediately.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing, real-time assistance to outside sales representatives and sales managers to support sales activities, including design and equipment selection.
- Conduct technical and product training to both sales and engineering groups.
- Develop custom systems for customers based on defined requirements and applications, analyzing all facets to ensure proper design and equipment.
- Develop quotes for both standard and semi-custom HVAC systems.
- Communicate directly with customers, engineers, production, and sales staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred.
- 2+ years experience in the HVAC industry, specifically utilizing selection software.
- AutoCAD experience a plus.
- Background in technical inside sales/support.
