About the position

As a Supply Chain Manager at Caterpillar, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting processes to ensure timely stock levels of materials and components necessary for manufacturing and delivering products. This role involves managing a team and overseeing product change control processes, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various product groups.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Product Change Control Releasers with 7 direct reports.
• Effectively manage Decatur MCS/MMO releasing for all engineering changes into production.
• Manage Product Change Control teams related to BOM effectivities and EC level material for all product groups.
• Oversee the releasing and change management for all Decatur product groups with an average of 7,000 engineering changes annually.
• Manage Decatur Change Escalation related to late engineering changes.
• Manage grief reports and metrics to ensure high team performance.
• Establish new processes, tools, and metrics to enhance team productivity.

• NPI experience
• Previous supervisory experience
