About the position

The Product Commercialization Manager I or above at Global Payments is responsible for leading the commercialization of the product suite in the Issuer business globally. This role involves managing commercial activities for products in production and preparing for the release of products nearing commercial readiness. The manager will work closely with product and sales teams to accelerate the commercialization of innovative products, develop new business models, and ensure that new issuing products drive value for both TSYS and its clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercialization of the product suite in the Issuer business globally.
  • Manage commercial activities for products available in production and those nearing commercial readiness.
  • Accelerate the commercialization of new, innovative products in collaboration with product and sales teams.
  • Develop and execute new business models with supporting business cases for commercialization.
  • Oversee the commercialization of new TSYS' Issuing products to drive value for TSYS and clients.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to solicit feedback and balance competing priorities.
  • Stay updated on competitive and market dynamics to inform product delivery and execution.
  • Drive vision, mission, and execution on product bundling, packaging, and commercial structures.
  • Define and validate solutions with a focus on technical and commercial readiness.
  • Promote excellence in the commercialization of Issuing products and pressure test new commercialization packages.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in technology, particularly in financial services technology across all phases of the payment product lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated project management experience working across Sales, Product, and Account Management in a matrix organization.
  • Understanding of sales management and reporting, with the ability to drive reviews of sales activity across a broad stakeholder group.
  • Experience in driving management reporting and dashboards for senior leadership consumption.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or MBA from an accredited university is preferred.
