About the position

The Product Communications Manager for Livestreaming at TikTok will play a crucial role in developing and implementing communication strategies that align with TikTok's user product vision and business objectives. This position involves collaborating with various teams to highlight TikTok's innovative features and product offerings, ensuring cohesive messaging across platforms, and serving as a key point of contact for media inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with TikTok's user product vision and business objectives.
  • Ensure all messaging is cohesive, strategically aligned, and effectively conveys our core values and goals.
  • Work cross-functionally with regional and global communications teams to drive clear narratives about our user products and platform benefits.
  • Partner closely with teams across Product, Trust and Safety, E-Commerce, Public Policy, Creator, and Legal to craft and refine messaging that supports TikTok's user product initiatives.
  • Foster collaboration to ensure consistency in communication across various platforms and channels.
  • Lead the development of media strategies that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Prioritize tactics that showcase TikTok's product innovations, discovery opportunities, and cultural impact.
  • Scale messaging and toolkits across global audiences.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for media inquiries related to TikTok's user products.
  • Conduct continuous analyses of market trends, cultural shifts, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and anticipate challenges.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Passion for consumer product storytelling.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in leading campaigns and events, developing assets, data storytelling, media relations, and issue handling.
  • Exceptional listening, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in day-to-day media relations and/or agency background.
  • Experience with social media or search platforms.
  • Previous experience working with global companies.
