The Product Compliance Analyst is a key role to ensure our Personal Lines and Commercial Lines policy forms are accurate, in compliance, producing effectively and supporting our company's goal to offer a competitive coverage product to our members. The Product Compliance Analyst works closely with Actuarial, Underwriting, Marketing, Commercial and Claims to develop forms, product manuals, product comparisons and product communications. A successful candidate for this position is engaged, has excellent time management skill, written and verbal communication, and ability to manage multiple mid-large projects to completion while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Create and enhance the company's product including forms, manuals, member policy package, implementation of forms, etc.
  • Draft and prepare filings and responses to negotiate approval for form and rule filings with the Department of Insurance (DOI) and Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR).
  • Perform competitive research of primary competitors for opportunities for improvement.
  • Interpret insurance forms, statutes, rules, regulations, develop conclusions, and make recommendations.
  • Perform analysis of existing forms and manuals on a regularly scheduled basis for effectiveness.
  • Research and analyze external information sources to provide updated, accurate competitive analysis including rates, guidelines, and forms coverage information.
  • Compile, analyze and report on product market trends to assist in determining product strategy.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing for accuracy of enhancements and modifications of forms installations, identify, document and report discrepancies found.
  • Work independently and manage projects and assignments, prioritizing workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Perform all responsibilities using established department processes, quality control procedures and checklists.
  • Effectively manage medium-large projects simultaneously to completion, while meeting deadlines.
  • Perform program audits as needed and required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proficient with I-File and SERFF.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in interpreting insurance forms, statutes, rules, regulations and performing analysis, developing conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret statutes, rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency with various computer systems including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Outlook.
