About the position

The Product Control Analyst at Symmetry Energy Solutions is responsible for coordinating customer information data, managing automated natural gas contracts and transactions, and ensuring efficient transaction processes with effective internal controls. This role supports the Sales Team, Operations Support, and Gas Operations by generating contract documents, reconciling issues, and participating in project teams for system improvements. The analyst acts as a liaison for contract processes and ensures compliance with SOX requirements while maintaining data integrity across systems.

Responsibilities

  • Generate all contract documents for the Sales Team and Business Region, including base agreements and amendments.
  • Coordinate new and terminated account activity and communication between Sales Team and Gas Scheduling/Operations.
  • Reconcile issues with contracts, operations support, and gas supply/scheduling.
  • Act as a database expert in areas such as metered usage, pricing, contracts, and invoicing.
  • Participate in project teams for report creation, testing, and implementation of automated systems.
  • Serve as a liaison to verify customer/contract process flow from startup to termination.
  • Ensure financial hedges are executed profitably and communicate transaction details to relevant departments.
  • Review and distribute account and contract data to the Sales Team for timely contract renewals.
  • Apply knowledge of deal structure to create and maintain transactions in applicable systems.
  • Obtain or provide contract documents to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Participate in periodic data reviews to confirm system data integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or business from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of professional level work in accounting, business, and/or finance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate comprehensive industry knowledge and skills, including process automation and legal aspects of contracting.
  • Proficient in personal computer software, including spreadsheets and databases.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce and OpenLink Endur.
  • Knowledge of best practice contracting procedures.
  • Basic project management skills.
