About the position
The Product Control Worker is responsible for receiving, organizing, and managing palletized or crated products in a cold environment. This role involves loading trucks, conducting inventory checks, and ensuring proper handling of products, including heavy lifting and stacking. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Receive palletized or crated product and organize by type using a pallet jack.
- Load trucks based on loadsheets and scan products.
- Conduct inventory checks and bin audits.
- Move or stack product by hand to boxes or crates as needed.
- Stretch-wrap stacks or pallets by hand or machine as required.
- Check temperatures and complete necessary paperwork.
Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Heavy labor experience in a similar environment is preferred.
