About the position

The Product Coordinator role is focused on facilitating and guiding the development and implementation of projects within a game company that publishes titles across various platforms. This position serves as the primary liaison between Japanese development teams and the production team, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between the Japanese development teams and the production team for a live operations title.
  • Monitor product updates and maintenance, sharing fan feedback with Japanese development teams.
  • Request information required for social media and marketing efforts.
  • Accurately translate informational material from written Japanese to English and vice versa.
  • Ensure quality of in-game messaging and announcements on all official channels.
  • Collaborate with the community manager to provide a helpful presence for fans.
  • Participate in live streaming broadcasts as required.
  • Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties assigned by upper management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluency in Japanese - Professional Working to Native Level.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Flexibility to work overtime hours and night shifts as needed occasionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Eagerness and passion to learn and grow in the video games industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
