The Product Coordinator will play a crucial role in the Rework team, contributing to the efficiency and quality of production processes. In this role, the Product Coordinator will be responsible for setting up production tables with the necessary processes and tools, often working independently but may receive assistance from a Line Process Coordinator (LPC) or Team Lead. The coordinator will perform rework operations as required and will be tasked with providing and documenting training for associates on production table processes and related work instructions. Monitoring reworks to ensure compliance with established procedures is essential, as is meeting production targets and performing quality audits. The coordinator will also review, resolve, and report any quality and process-related issues to the immediate supervisor. Familiarity with Concern Studies (CS's), Authorized Revisions (A/Rs), and wire harness drawings is necessary for this position. Additionally, the coordinator will coordinate and control component inventory to support assigned reworks and assist management in achieving corporate and departmental goals. Adherence to corporate policies, as well as EMS/QMS policies and health and safety regulations, is expected. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Set up production tables with required processes and tools independently.
  • Perform rework (operator) as required.
  • Provide and document training for associates on production table processes and related work instructions.
  • Monitor reworks to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Assure established production targets are met.
  • Perform quality audits.
  • Review, resolve, and report quality and process-related issues to the immediate Supervisor.
  • Read and understand Concern Studies (CS's)/Authorized Revisions (A/Rs) and wire harness drawings.
  • Coordinate/control component inventory in support of assigned reworks as required.
  • Assist management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectives.
  • Support corporate policies and departmental policies.
  • Support EMS/QMS policies and procedures.
  • Support health and safety policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associate degree in technical or manufacturing field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of quality inspection/rework experience preferred.
  • Language requirement: English, and Spanish preferred.
  • Knowledge and application of Microsoft Office applications, WMS, ARE/ARS, BEAMS.
