About the position
The Product Data Coordinator at Ferguson Enterprises is responsible for managing and updating product information on the company's website. This role involves adding new products, correcting content errors, and ensuring that product pages meet high-quality standards. The position requires effective communication with team members and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple tasks. This is a hybrid role based in Newport News, VA or Atlanta, GA, allowing for a mix of in-office and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple tasks within set deadlines, utilizing Excel, SQL, and product knowledge.
- Add new products to the site and enrich existing product content.
- Follow department standards to ensure product pages reflect the most current information available.
- Review taxonomy guidelines and adhere to category style guides.
- Communicate effectively with others within and outside the job area.
- Respond to constructive criticism and feedback in a professional manner.
- Thoroughly read all forms of communication that pertain to the department and take necessary action.
- Organize and keep all programs/software up to date.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
