About the position

The Product Design Analyst at Meritage Homes is responsible for overseeing Plan Development for Florida markets, collaborating with various stakeholders including Vice Presidents of Land Acquisition, Purchasing, and Regional Operations. This role involves managing architectural and engineering projects, maintaining the Florida Regional Plan Library, and ensuring effective communication across teams to manage multiple projects. The Analyst will also engage with consultants and municipalities to develop cost-effective solutions for community developments, requiring regular site visits across Florida.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Plan Development for Florida markets.
• Work closely with Vice Presidents of Land Acquisition, Purchasing, and Regional Operations.
• Manage architectural and engineering projects with consultants.
• Maintain the Meritage Florida Regional Plan Library.
• Discuss new community developments with consultants, developers, and municipalities.
• Devise cost-effective solutions for plan and development requirements.
• Communicate regularly with internal and external team members to manage multiple projects.
• Process architectural and engineering contracts and invoices for Florida markets.
• Conduct regular community/site visits across Florida.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of project management and/or contract administration experience required.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office required.
• High attention to detail required.
• Architectural experience is strongly preferred.
• AutoCAD experience is preferred.
• Experience with plan development and municipal plan approval is preferred.
• Homebuilding, construction, or real estate experience is preferred.
