About the position

The Product Design Manager will lead a design team in creating innovative and user-friendly products for a consumer packaged goods (CPG) client. This role involves overseeing the design process from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and customer needs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the product design team to deliver high-quality designs on time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and sales, to define product requirements and specifications.
• Develop and execute design strategies that align with business objectives and enhance user experience.
• Conduct market research and user testing to gather feedback and improve product designs.
• Oversee the design process for various products, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Mentor and develop junior designers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to keep the design team informed and innovative.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Design Manager, Creative Services Manager, Industrial Designer, Product Designer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful product designs and leadership in design projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
