About the position

The Product Designer 3 at Baylor Scott & White Health is responsible for driving the quality and creativity of human-centered digital products aimed at enhancing the experience of patients and their families. This role involves collaboration with various teams to address digital challenges, influence stakeholders, and create innovative design solutions that align with the organization's strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Advance customer-centric digital experiences with innovative solutions.
• Inspire and motivate other designers to achieve excellence in design.
• Coach and mentor team members, providing feedback and direction.
• Serve as a key advisor across product teams to facilitate collaboration.
• Create and direct design quality processes and tools for consistency.
• Build frameworks that support UI and/or UX components and workflows.
• Translate branding and existing patterns into scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on concepts and requirements.
• Develop interactive prototypes, wireframes, and storyboards.
• Establish clear rationale and customer insights to support design recommendations.
• Iterate quickly and explore multiple solutions for design problems.
• Promote inclusive design standards across digital platforms.
• Facilitate research activities and strategy sessions with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in visual, interaction, or product design strategy.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and similar design tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to create prototypes and storyboards that address customer needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Miro and FigJam.
• Knowledge of established brand guidelines and design systems.
