About the position

Airtable is seeking an experienced Product Designer to join their AI team, focusing on creating innovative AI-powered experiences that enhance the functionality of Airtable's platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-centric solutions that leverage AI to improve workflows and drive efficiency. The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a preference for in-office collaboration 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Craft exceptional AI experiences using a full range of product design skills.
• Contribute to a vision of Airtable with AI, helping to design and drive a strong point of view about future integrations.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners including Product Managers and Engineers to create cohesive AI use experiences.
• Engage with customers to understand their goals and needs, leveraging feedback to inform design work.
• Contribute to the design team's culture through critiques and collaborative sessions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Designer with a portfolio of impactful work.
• Experience working on AI, SaaS, or zero-to-one projects is a bonus.
• Interest in exploring AI trends and familiarity with AI patterns like natural language interfaces and prompt engineering.
• Technical proficiency to work with engineers on prototypes or create AI prototypes independently.
• Ability to tackle ambiguous and novel design problems.
