About the position

The Product Designer at Coast Pacifica Connections, LLC will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience of the company's SaaS platform, which focuses on making APIs more visual and accessible. This position involves collaborating closely with the founding team and engineers to design user interactions, maintain a unified design system, and implement responsive designs that meet user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on user interactions, layouts, and overall product aesthetics for the SaaS platform.
• Develop and maintain a unified design system and component libraries for consistency.
• Utilize tools like Figma, Webflow, and Framer Motion to create responsive and visually appealing designs.
• Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and Founders to align product design with user needs and technical feasibility.
• Implement animations, micro-interactions, and responsive designs to enhance user experience.
• Engage in design sprints and workshops to brainstorm and refine concepts.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, interaction design, and information architecture for SaaS products.
• Hands-on experience with React and Framer Motion for creating engaging interfaces.
• A portfolio demonstrating advanced UI/UX skills, including animations and responsive designs.
• Experience in developing and maintaining design systems or component libraries.
• Strong understanding of modern web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases, APIs, and API authentication.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Webflow, and Retool.

Nice-to-haves

• Passion for builder and design tools that empower technical sellers.
• Experience with Framer Motion, React dnd kit, or other interactive design libraries.
• Contributions to the React ecosystem or open-source projects.
