About the position

Our client in the Home Goods / Retail industry is seeking a Product Designer to create innovative designs for home decor items. This full-time position is hybrid, allowing for a flexible work schedule with some in-office requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aesthetic sense, functionality understanding, and collaborative skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Designing home decor items such as wall decor, canvases, framed canvases, mirrors, and holiday products.
• Creating designs using Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Collaborating with project managers and sending designs to manufacturers in China.
• Participating in collaborative meetings and making revisions based on design team feedback.
• Meeting with clients to present and discuss designs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design experience.
• Expert knowledge in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with AI tools such as Midjourney, Firefly, or similar.
• A self-starter who brings new ideas to the table.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Teams and Trello.
