About the position

Our client in the Home Goods / Retail industry is seeking a Product Designer to create innovative product designs for home decor items. This full-time position is hybrid, requiring some in-office presence in Covington, KY, and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet both aesthetic and functional standards.

Responsibilities

• Designing home decor items such as wall decor, canvases, framed canvases, mirrors, and holiday products.
• Creating designs using Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Collaborating with project managers and sending designs to manufacturers in China.
• Participating in collaborative meetings and making revisions based on feedback from the design team.
• Meeting with clients to present and discuss designs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design experience.
• Expert knowledge in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with AI tools such as Midjourney, Firefly, or similar.
• A self-starter who brings new ideas to the table.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Teams and Trello.
