As a Product Designer for ThinkFun, you will focus on developing thinking skills for fun-loving players of all ages and backgrounds. Our products are designed to encourage players to think deeper and try harder through enjoyable experiences that we are passionate about getting just right. We are seeking a Product/Industrial Designer with game and toy industry experience who can collaborate with our team, be creative under pressure, and deliver fun and unique designs to expand our product range. The Product Designer will primarily be responsible for the concepting and industrial design of 2-3 products per cycle (approximately 4-5 per year), along with additional support for other concurrent products as needed. A significant focus will be on the User Experience with the physical item, as ThinkFun products rely heavily on the consumer's ability to easily and naturally interact with our games. The ideal candidate must possess a working knowledge of design for production in CAD and have the experience to accurately estimate production costs. You will be expected to create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for each product, and communication with manufacturers will be a regular task in this role. A creative mindset and a high capacity for collaboration are essential for success in this position.
