About the position

Apple is seeking an experienced Product Designer (UI/UX) to create user-friendly and engaging experiences for key applications and tools that enhance the reliability and efficiency of Apple's Infrastructure Services. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and technical constraints, and delivering elegant design solutions that resonate with users.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, and deliver user experiences and user flows for applications.
• Collaborate with product managers to prioritize features and break them down into user stories.
• Work with software developers to understand technical limitations and iterate on design solutions.
• Present and communicate design mockups, user flows, and prototypes to various stakeholders.
• Articulate design rationale and prioritize feedback for rapid iteration during the design process.
• Influence and align with team members while applying critical thinking and product design strategy.
• Ship user experiences that are delightful and effective.

Requirements

• UI/UX experience in a software product team, including prototyping, designing, and shipping full-stack software products.
• Expertise in designing across various platforms such as web, mobile, and AR/VR.
• Proficiency in managing the information architecture of large complex applications.
• Experience with UI/UX wireframing and design tools like Sketch and Figma.

Nice-to-haves

• User-centric approach to define, test, and iterate on UI/UX through user research and usability studies.
• Experience in building and maintaining design systems and frontend component systems at scale.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent collaborative skills for cross-functional teamwork.
