About the position

Onward Search is seeking a Product Designer (UX, Internal Tools) for a leading healthcare client. This fully remote position requires expertise in designing complex internal tools and a strong proficiency in Figma. The role involves conducting user research, designing user experiences, and collaborating with Agile teams to create effective product features.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, A/B testing, and surveys, to uncover user pain points and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma to translate research findings into effective and engaging user experiences.
• Collaborate and iterate with Agile teams, partnering with pharmacy SMEs, product managers, engineers, and researchers to ensure design feasibility and translate design specifications into functional product features.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest UX trends and best practices within the health-tech space, ensuring designs adhere to accessibility guidelines and brand guidelines.
• Clearly present design concepts to stakeholders, articulate design decisions, and effectively communicate research findings and usability insights to influence product development.

Requirements

• 3+ years in user experience design with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design, interaction design, and the utilization of (or contribution to) established design systems.
• Figma Proficiency: 2+ years of experience with Figma, including a demonstrated ability to work with auto-layout, interactive components, prototyping, and wireframing.
• 3+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally within the healthcare, health-tech, or fin-tech industries. Strong understanding of UX design principles and methodologies, including user-centered design, information architecture, and interaction design.
