The Product Designer plays a vital role in shaping how customers interact with Uniphore's products across a range of enterprise applications. This position operates as an individual contributor and reports directly to the Director of Product Design. The role requires a deep understanding of business requirements, the ability to navigate technical limitations, and the skill to choreograph a holistic functional design for the products. The primary objective is to ensure an exceptional user experience while achieving a sophisticated design elegance. In this role, the Product Designer will support the design process by collaborating with product managers to deliver well-considered solutions that meet both consumer and enterprise needs. These solutions should align with business and product objectives, enhance customer value, and invigorate the entire team. The designer will work closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow design leads, contributing from the initial idea stage to project execution across new and ongoing initiatives within the platform. Transforming abstract concepts into tangible user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes will be essential to create user-friendly and intuitive experiences. The designer will also employ a user-centric design methodology, organizing and facilitating user testing sessions, and conveying insights to the team. Additionally, the role involves guiding and mentoring junior members of the design team, making strategic decisions regarding design and user experience, and advocating for innovative concepts.
